Inspired by the Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds. This place is believed to inspire J.R.R. Tolkien for the Door of Moria, two trees guarding the entrance. I’m great admirer of Tolkien’s work and this was a special place for me to visit and paint.

I have unleashed my imagination and played alog with the dramatic sky. One of the most interesting places on the Southern Coast, Pevensey Castle is believed to be a place where Wiliam the Conqueror and his army rested before marching for the famous Battle of Hastings in 1066.
